MIRACLES… Amazing things!
Do we think that miracles are only the blind receiving sight? The lame walking? Hasn't Jesus said that if you…yes, YOU... have as LITTLE as a mustard seed of faith and say to a mountain, be removed and cast into the sea that it will ? Did Jesus say this to taunt us or set us up for failure? No, that is not in the nature of God or His Son Jesus. Miracles were and are a way of life for Jesus. He has told us, because of His great love for us and so He wants good things for us!
Jesus said in John to abide in Him, and if you are in me, and my word is in you, you can ask what you will and it will be done! Doesn't it make perfect sense that if you are abiding in Jesus, the Holy Spirit in you that you are going to have at least mustard seed faith? So say. And keep the faith.
I believe things that would not or could not manifest will indeed for that one. For the one saying... For the one believing with that tiny mustard seed of faith.
Having faith in the face of impossible is not easy. You have to push faith out of yourself and SAY what God says. Simply say, and keep saying. The times I have pressed through doubt and unbelief I have been blessed in amazing ways. But, don't stop saying once you receive the blessing. Don't say to yourself, "I don't need to do that, I am so blessed." Keep it up.
It is written if you walk in the Spirit you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. The Holy Spirit, there every moment to help you, will keep you from sin in time of temptation. Be holy spirit conscious.
Miracles are for now. They are for every moment you need them whether your keys are locked in your truck or praying earnestly for someone stumbling on a dark path brought on by addiction to some "other method" of seeking solace in life than the Holy Spirit.
People may think you irresponsible or looney tunes if you say in hard times that 'God has this!'God will come through! God is my help!
Jesus told us greater things than these, will you do...
Verily, verily, I
say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do
also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my
Father. John 14:12
Why would He say that? Have faith in God and his Son Jesus. Have faith in prayer! Have faith in faith!
I have heard it said as though it were God speaking, "Doubt your doubt, not ME."
Have faith in God who is love, is full of mercy, grace, and compassion! He is not a trickster! He is the lover of souls!
One of the names of God is Jehovah Jireh, God the Provider. He is that great standard who will provide all you need. He is the God of more than enough. This is a God designed truth, and a promise. Therefore believe and say in need, God provides for my EVERY need. Trust Him. I will trust you Lord. Stand back and wait on the Lord and BELIEVE it will be done.
I BELIEVE-- I will not pretend these scriptures don't exist.
Give and it shall be given unto you.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you." Luke 6:38 English Revised Version (ERV)
But whoso hath the world's
goods, and beholdeth his brother in need, and shutteth up his compassion
from him, how doth the love of God abide in him? 1st John 3:17
Abide. Walk in the Spirit. Put your hand to the plow and also SAY. This isn't some newly discovered message. This is the ageless word of God! The word is an amazing force. Likewise our words are an amazing force created and installed into mankind. Activated by faith. What do you have faith in? Do you speak failure? Doom? Defeat? What do you doubt?
Put your faith in God and doubt your doubt, not God!
What an exciting realization when it comes! I hope this word and these scripture references will help to usher in your epiphany.
What are miracles in relation to God? I would say they are God simply keeping his word and his promise to us. Showing his power through us as vessels of His glory.
With only a grain of faith, the size of a mustard seed you can say to this mountain be moved and cast into the sea and it would be so. THAT is an amazing...profound...out of the realm of natural things. THAT is an example of a miracle.
Did Jesus mean we should go around and move great massive towers of rock? I think he was conveying the size of a situation and the size of faith it takes to change the structure of a thing. I believe he was conveying the possibility of the impossible.
Please note in the following verse that the 1st scripture speaks of whom the power is attributed to. Notice it is firmly attributed to the Holy Spirit of God here:
Zechariah 4:5 So the angel who was speaking with me answered and said to me, "Do you not know what these are?" And I said, "No, my lord." 6Then he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts. 7What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of "Grace, grace to it!"'"…
POSSIBLE VS IMPOSSIBLE
Are you familiar with the scriptures in the bible that convey the possible VS the impossible?
I posted some verses at the very end. Or you can open this link. These will help build your faith in the POSSIBLE of God.
https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Bible-Verses-About-All-Things-Are-Possible/
Faith, Say, Done. Who is the actual performer of the miracle? Easy Holy Spirit power of God. Believing participant exercising a grain of faith. God keeping His word. He watches over His word and is faithful to perform it. Jeremiah 1:11-19 God is no respecter of persons
MIRACLES. what are they in relation to God? I would say they are God simply keeping his word and his promise to us. Even with a grain of faith you can say to this mountain be moved and cast into the sea and it would be so.
11 The word of the LORD came to me, saying, ‘Jeremiah, what do you see?’ And I said, ‘I see an almond branch.’ Then the LORD said to me, ‘You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it’” (1 11–12).
Notice this is NOT some new age mantra that attributes or glorifies the universe. Those who do that want the gift but not the giver and they take the glory and credit away from the Holy Spirit of God the Giver. They will fall flat and empty. God is the giver and salvation through his Son Jesus is the greatest gift to mankind. All the rest are givings that follow after those who believe.
Think this to be the proverbial carrot? No, not at all. Presentation of man might convey this but certainly is not the case. It is more like being a child of a King and having every thing and benefit and inheritance provided by a Great King who loves all of his children.
Here this scripture is in 3 different translations of the bible.
Luke 11:13
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?”
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
If you, then, being evil [that is, sinful by nature], know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!”
This link will lead you to the same scripture translated in many versions of the bible : https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/en/Luke%2011%3A13
Ephesians 1: 17- 21That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you
a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having
the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope
to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious
inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his
power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great
might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and
seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule
and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is
named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.
There is a thread throughout the whole word of God with His possible proving itself against the impossible! Doesn't the word convey that through faith God will deliver from the impossibility of things?
Mankind stepping out with a mustard seed of faith and believing on the Lord Jesus Christ who takes away the sin of the world. To those who believe the first mountain is removed. The mountain of eternal death and damnation versus eternal life and abundant living. Remember, this is a Great King who manifests His Great love in givings to His children.
My father is a Great King. He is the creator of heaven and earth and the giver of good things to his children. Recall the scriptures above?
First and foremost, God delivers us from sin through faith in his Son Jesus as the Savior of the souls of human kind.
